The Northern Village of Air Ronge is located in North-central Saskatchewan in between the Town of La Ronge and the Lac La Ronge Indian Band. Located on the shores of the Bigstone Lake, Lac La Ronge, and along the Montreal River, this community embraces the natural beauty of the area and its history as the original airstrip in the region. The community has a population of 1,106, many of which work in any one of the three communities.

The Northern Village is currently in the process of updating their Official Community Plan and Zoning Bylaw to replace the ones adopted in April 2001.
