Official Community Plan: This document provides the regional planning and development vision and framework of goals, objectives and policies to guide the management and use of land and future development within the Planning Area.

Lac La Ronge Planning Area (Map 1): This Official Community Plan map shows where the Lac La Ronge Planning Area is located within the province of Saskatchewan, and a closeup of the expanse of the area covered surrounding the three municipalities of La Ronge, Air Ronge, and the Lac La Ronge Indian Band.

Future Land Use (Map 2): The Official Community Plan is about outlining the best location for types of future development to occur. It is beneficial to group similar land-uses together for various reasons, such as, easy access to lots, noise, aesthetic views, existing zoning, or adjacent land uses. This maps identifies the most ideal locations for various types of development.

Zoning Bylaw: This document outlines all the logistics and regulations associated with building and development for the regional planning area. The regulations and standards enforced through this document allows for the consistent implementation of building and development within the region. The consolidated version contains amendments made up to March 14, 2018.

Planning Bylaws and Maps - Amendments
Over time, amendments will be made to the OCP and Zoning Bylaw. Those amendments are listed below.

Zoning Bylaw amendment to (1) allow for animal keeping; (2) remove regulations on keeping cats and dogs; (3) align discretionary use advertising requirements with The Planning and Development, 2007; (4) remove separate servicing requirements for Garden Suites; and (5) correct formatting errors.

Zoning Bylaw amendment to allow Parking Lots in the Resource Land Zoning District.

Zoning Bylaw amendment to provide for Tiny Home Residential Development, including the creation of the RR1 - Tiny Home Residential District.

Zoning Bylaw amendment to change Tourist Camps and Campgrounds from permitted uses to discretionary uses in the FDR - Future Development and Recreation District.

Zoning Bylaw amendment to add Garage Suites and Garden Suites to residential districts; removed the minimum building floor area within the resort subdivision of Napatak; and add Recreation Cabins as discretionary uses in the RL - Resource Land District.

Zoning Bylaw amendment removing some of the permitted uses in the C2 - Service Commercial District.

Zoning Bylaw amendment to provide for a wild rice warehouse, office and storage, as well as the creation of the C2 - Service Commercial Zoning District; added provisions for mixed use development.
