Lot Development Guidelines for the District
Excluding the Lac La Ronge Planning Area, the District does not have an official community plan or zoning bylaw. The following lot development guidelines are recommended:
Principal Building Setbacks (e.g. house):
Front Yard: 6 metres (19.6 feet)
Side Yard: 2 metres (6.5 feet)
Rear Yard: 4.5 metres (14.7 feet)
Accessory Building Setbacks (e.g. shed, garage):
Front Yard: 6 metres (19.6 feet)
Side Yard: 1.5 metres (4.9 feet)
Rear Yard: 1 metre (3.3 feet)
Corner Lots:
Drivers should have an unobstructed view around the corner. 6.1m/20ft from each corner is the recommended sight triangle dimension.
