FAQ - Is The OCP and Zoning Bylaw Written in Stone?
The OCP and Zoning Bylaw are not written in stone. They are “living documents” that can grow and change with emerging community trends and issues. While all future development must legally conform to an OCP, an OCP is designed to be specific enough to guide daily decisions but broad enough to be flexible.
An OCP and Zoning Bylaw can be changed or “amended” at any time by mayor and council based on community feedback or other important reasons.
